		about us Furnishing Manchester for over 80 years. The first Wrays Furnishers store was established in Oldham back in 1924 by The Wray Family. "We wanted to create a shop environment that offered local home owners two important things, A unique choice of quality furniture and good, honest value for money. Furniture, interiors and the way families use their living space has changed beyond recognition especially over the last 30 years and we've worked very hard to make sure our stores reflect the way people live now". Two years ago Martin Wray and his two sons, who are now enthusiastically involved were ready to expand the Wray family business and agreed to acquire a well established South Manchester furniture retail group called Partingtons who had stores in Altrincham and Sale and at the time of the take-over the family chose to trade in Altrincham and Sale under the name Wray Furnishers but that's now set to change from January 2010 all three stores will be known as Wrays Furnishers, furnishing specialists.
